Straight answers, no fine print.

Twelve questions pulled from the service agreement and what customers actually ask.

What happens on the first visit?
A technician does a full inspection first, then treats what's actually there. Outside gets a complete perimeter barrier, three feet up the wall and three feet out, plus attention to nests, webs and entry points. Inside is treated where it's needed, based on what the inspection turns up, not as a routine sweep of every room. This first visit is the heaviest one of the year, since it clears out what's already established before settling into the quarterly schedule.
Why do I see more bugs right after the first service?
That spike is the flush-out working, not a sign the treatment failed. The products used push pests out of the cracks and voids they were hiding in before they die, so activity looks higher for a few days right after the first visit. It settles down on its own as that first wave clears. If it doesn't settle within a reasonable stretch, free re-service is available before the next scheduled visit.
What is the 30-day follow-up?
It's a second visit, scheduled about 30 days after the first, timed to the egg cycle of what was treated. A single treatment rarely reaches eggs that were already laid before the visit, so the follow-up catches the generation that hatches after. It's part of the initial service, not a separate call you have to make.
Is it safe for pets and kids?
The products used are eco-friendly and applied with pets and kids in mind, especially in the yard and anywhere indoors that gets regular use. Technicians will point out any area that needs time to dry before pets or kids are back in it. If there's a specific product question about a treatment area, ask the technician on site; they'll walk through exactly what was applied and where.
Do I need to be home?
No. The standard quarterly visit is exterior only, so most visits happen while you're at work and nobody needs to be there. If you want something addressed indoors, ask ahead of time and it'll be scheduled as part of that visit. Interior treatment is otherwise handled on request rather than automatically.
What if I see bugs between visits?
Re-service between scheduled visits is free. Reach out, describe what's turned up, and a technician comes back out to address it without an extra charge. This is part of the standard plan, not an add-on.
How do I reschedule a visit?
Message or call to change the date; technicians text ahead of each visit to confirm, and that same channel works to move it if the timing doesn't work. Messages get a reply within 24 hours. Rescheduling doesn't affect the quarterly cycle going forward, it just shifts that one visit.
How does autopay work?
Service is billed automatically per visit on the plan you're on, quarterly by default or monthly if that's what you chose. There's no separate step to trigger billing each time; it runs alongside the visit schedule. Any change to the plan or the payment method goes through the same channel as scheduling.
Can I cancel?
Yes. There's a 3-business-day cancellation right on the service agreement from the time it's signed. After that window, cancellation is handled directly, with no long-term contract locking you in beyond the standard terms of the agreement.
What areas do you serve?
Greater Chicago, across 31 suburbs, and the St. Louis area. The same technicians and the same plan apply across both markets. The areas page lists the specific towns covered.
Do you treat mosquitoes and ticks?
Yes, as a seasonal add-on to the standard plan. Treatment targets where mosquitoes rest during the day and where ticks wait in tall grass, rather than a blanket spray across the whole yard, and the products used are pet-safe. It runs from late spring through the first frost, matching when both are actually active.
Do you handle bed bugs?
Yes, but inspection always comes first. Bed bugs get confirmed and located before anything is treated, since a guess wastes a visit and a false positive costs you money for nothing. Once confirmed, treatment includes a follow-up inside the egg cycle, because eggs from the first treatment need a second pass to catch.
